April 2017 – Planting Day

It is the Easter school holidays and our volunteers came out to Ash Island on Wednesday 19th April to help plant 400 trees, including 25 different native floodplain rainforest species. It was also a great opportunity for the next generation of kids to get involved. Volunteers that come out regularly brought their grandchildren which was great to see in the holidays. A good turnout of thirty-three people. Look forward to seeing you there next time!
